SIG SAUER® introduces the SB15 Pistol Stabilizing Brace, a shooter’s aid that is designed to improve the single-handed shooting performance of buffer tube equipped pistols. SIG developed accessory for AR pistols. While it looks like a stock, it is actually a sleeve for shooters to pass their forearm through, with straps to cinch down. Phase 5 makes stylish Kryptek camo straps for this.

While it’s a buffer tube-mounted accessory, both SIG and the ATF agree: it is not a buttstock. It looks like a buttstock but isn’t intended to be fired from the shoulder. This is important because under any other circumstances, a rifle with a barrel less than 16 inches in length is a NFA regulated “short-barreled rifle.” SBRs are extremely regulated and illegal to manufacture without proper license. This is an ATF approved alternative to maintain pistol status and avoid the NFA tax stamp! Foregrip rules still apply, so no front foregrip except the ATF approved Magpul AFG (or similar) can be used without moving into the realm of NFA regulated AOW's.

This veteran-designed and U.S.-manufactured accessory enhances accuracy and reduces felt recoil when using an AR-style pistol.

Made from high-quality, elasto-polymer, the SB15 is manufactured to close tolerances and fits all pistols equipped with an AR-style buffer tube 1.0” – 1.2” in diameter. The Pistol Stabilizing Brace uses the operator’s forearm to provide stable support, thereby minimizing accuracy-robbing spin and shift. A flexible cuff with two adjustable nylon straps allows the SB15 to be custom fit to any user.
