This is the Keymod version of our new DPMS Evolution Rail. It will accept all of our new Keymod accessories. The DPMS Evolution Rail is an adaptation of our popular Evolution Series Rail. This rail is built specifically for the DPMS LR308 receiver geometry. Included is a modified DPMS barrel nut which is required for installation. No thermal bushings are required for installation. Will fit any .308 upper receiver with new DPMS low profile receiver height (ie S&W M&P10 and post August 2009 DPMS 308 rifles). The Evolution Keymod will feature standard Keymod slots at the 3 6 and 9 o "clock positions. You may add OPTIONAL Two 2" Keymod Rail Kit for $17.95. In addition the Evolution rail will maintain the ability to accept standard Evo accessories at multiple angles around the rail through the original "s cuts ". This allows operators to take advantage of a much larger variety of accessories while still having cross platform capability where it is most needed.

How to tell what type of DPMS LR-308 receiver you have:
Measure tongue above charging handle:
ARMALITE = .22" and uses Armalite Thread Barrel Nut
DPMS LP = .16" and uses DPMS Original Thread Barrel Nut
DPMS HP = .22" and uses DPMS Original Thread Barrel Nut
DPMS G2 = .21" and uses DPMS G2 Thread Barrel Nut
August 2009 changed the height of the top rail on the LR308 upper receiver. To properly match your receiver height, measure the distance from the barrel's centerline to the top of the receiver rail.
PRE August 2009 model is 1.313"
IMPORTANT: DPMS, BUSHMASTER & REMINGTON have two different height upper receivers. Please download PDF to determine which receiver you have before purchasing:
