Developed for extremely short rifles to mitigate muzzle blast in close quarters situations while increasing rifle control. In SWAT applications where shooters are generally firing indoors, muzzle compensators create too much overpressure. The CQB combats this by projecting the blast forward, limiting the concussion felt by the team. Removing material where we could without damaging functionality, the PWS CQB compensator is very lightweight.
The CQB Comp, originally designed as part of the Diablo Upper, is designed to provide as much compensation as possible while suppressing flash and sending all the blast forward of the shooter and NOT those next to the shooter.
The CQB comp is designed for just that - CQB. This product comes by request of those running through buildings that love the FSC556, but the blast in that narrow space is too much, especially for the guy standing next to them.
The primary function is to send all the blast forward. The secondary function is to suppress flash and the tertiary function is to compensate the rifle. This product in no way compensates the weapon to the level of the FSC556 or our other comps, but it does serve the needs of those that requested its development.

Product Review: I installed one of these on my 7.5" and it was fantastic! I'll be installing PWS comps on all my future builds.

Product Review: Not sure if it was intended for use on an M16? But it worked lovely on mine, ran like a pace maker. I only shot one 30rd pmag so I don't know if it could handle continued FA action? Great product!

Product Review: Love this device, have used several designs, including linear compensators. There is nothing else I've used that comes anywhere near the blast reduction the CQB comp provides!! Great inovation!!
"Best Comp $$$ can buy!"

Product Review: If you are a hard core shooter this is the comp to buy. I have done several carbine classes and everyone wanted my comp. All the gas and blast goes forward and not to the side or back. I like it better than my noveske pig. The guys at PWS are ahead of the curve. Great product!!
