All of these barrels are made to fit a Glock 19. They are American Steel, Polygonal Rifled, Chrome Moly (CrMoV) Stress Relieved, Black Nitride Finish, 1:10 Right-Hand Twist Rate (6 Grooves), Match Grade Precision, Improved Lock up for increased reliability and accuracy, Proprietary thread with muzzle device and thread protector INCLUDED.
OPTIONAL UPGRADES:
- Aluminum Folding Sight Set. Meta Tatical’s MTA-BUS sights feature all-aluminum construction with type III hard-anodizing. The sights can sit flat when stowed or be deployed to standard AR sight height. They also feature toolless windage and elevation adjustments, as well as the ability to mount to any Picatinny / NATO accessory rail. The MTA-BUS provides fast and precise target acquisition with the HK-style front sight and a dual aperture rear sight.
- VFG Vertical Forward Grip Spare Mag Holder. Compatible with GLOCK 9mm and .40 DOUBLE STACK Magazines. Requires Picatinny Rail Kit to mount.

The META TACTICAL APEX-Series Carbine Conversion Kit is the world’s first pistol-to-rifle bullpup style conversion kit.
What handguns are compatible with the APEX Carbine Conversion Kit?
Currently, we will offer kits that are compatible with Glock, S&W, and P80. This includes most make, models, and generations. Calibers to include 9mm, 10mm, .40, and .45. Future kits will be available for SIG Sauer and Springfield. If you don’t see your gun when ordering, please reach out to [email protected] and we can either confirm compatibility, anticipated manufacture timeline or provide more information.
Will the same kit work for multiple makes of handguns?
Most handguns will require a specific chassis and 16” barrel engineered for that model, make, etc.
What is all included with the kit?
The kit includes the chassis, 16” drop-in replaement barrel, and muzzle device.
Is there a safety?
Yes, there is a thumb safety and a proprietary patent-pending barrel safety that prevents the gun from firing if the 16” barrel is not inserted.
What are the overall length and weight of the APEX chassis and barrel?
The overall length with a fully extended stock is 26” and 23.375” in the collapsed position. The weight is right around 3.25 lbs depending on the model and barrel combination.
What are the details/specs on the 16” drop-in replacement barrel included in the Carbine Conversion Kit?
Precision machined 16” Chromoly full drop-in barrel replacement with a black nitride finish. 1:10 twist with proprietary thread and muzzle device. Polygonal rifling.
What is the thread pattern on the end of the 16” drop in barrel? Will it accept a suppressor?
The threading on the 16” drop-in barrel is a proprietary thread and won't accept aftermarket products including a suppressor. The added weight of a suppressor or potentially a different compensator will negatively affect the accuracy of the platform.
Is the kit compatible with custom slide cuts and aftermarket slides?
Yes, the kit is compatible with custom slide cuts and aftermarket slides.
Is the APEX Carbine Conversion Kit legal in all 50 states?
The CCK is legal in most states. Please check with your state’s laws/guidelines. Feel free to reach out to [email protected] for help.
Is the APEX CCK legal in California?
We can sell into California and we can ship to California. However, for you to use in California will take some adjustments on our end to be compliant with the laws of the state. We are working through how to make it legal to use in CA including a fin grip, longer overall length, legal muzzle brake, and stationary rifle stock to name a few. The hope is by the ship date, we will have a CA-specific model that is legal. Stay tuned.
Does META Tactical offer a warranty?
One year warranty on defective or broken META Tactical products with proof of purchase.
