Complete, Ready-To-Shoot Upper With a Full Suite of Popular Options
The Geissele Super Duty Complete AR-15 Upper Receiver comes with more options than a 1970s Cadillac, including a Surefire closed tine Warcomp, Geissele's Super Modular Rail M-LOK® handguard, and their ambidextrous Airborne charging handle. A tooth in the top rear of the SMR handguard mates with a notch in the upper receiver to prevent unwanted handguard rotation that could compromise optic and/or backup sight alignment.
Inside, the Super Duty Upper Receiver has Geissele's Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group (REBCG). The carrier is machined from extra-hard 8620 carbon steel with extended upper rails to ensure ultra-reliable feeding. (The chrome-lined gas key is, of course, "properly" staked.) The bolt itself is forged from Carpenter 158+ steel alloy, which is far stronger than standard Carpenter 158 for a service life up to 5 times longer than a plain mil-spec bolt. The strongest bolt and carrier in the world do no good if they're compromised by a failed cam pin, so the cam pin is machined from a medical-grade steel alloy called H13. The entire BCG is finished with Geissele's tough, chrome-nitride "Nanoweapon" finish that has a surface hardness similar to synthetic diamonds. Self-lubricating Nanoweapon is highly resistant to fouling and so is very easy to clean.
Complete AR-15 upper
Ready to install on a mil-spec lower
Chambered in 5.56 NATO (.223 Remington compatible)
14.5" barrel with Surefire closed tine Warcomp, a closed tine flash hider that is neutrally ported to aid in recoil management. Compared to that of the open tine adapters, the WARCOMP-CTN for 5.56 caliber weapons mimics that of a traditional birdcage flash hider along with being a rock solid mounting option for SOCOM Series suppressors.
Mid-length gas system
Pinned-on low-profile gas block
Super Modular Rail M-LOK handguard
Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group (REBCG)
Ambidextrous Airborne charging handle
Each Super Duty Complete Upper Receiver is fitted with a Cold Hammer-Forged CHF 14.5" carbine barrel manufactured by Geissele in their own factory in North Wales, Pennsylvania (not outsourced!). Chambered in 5.56 NATO, it has a chrome-lined bore and a phosphate exterior finish. The mid-length gas tube reduces the velocity of the gas for less violent, more reliable operation of the bolt/carrier group. The Geissele Super Gas Block is pinned to the barrel, so it's not going to move - no matter how many rounds you cycle through this bad boy!

What is Geissele Nanoweapon?
Geissele Nanoweapon (also known as Picatinny DSL) is a family of Durable Solid Lubricant coatings which was developed by ARDEC. It is available exclusively from Geissele Automatics. We continued the development of Picatinny DSL so that its level of corrosion, wear and abrasion resistance is currently unmatched among firearm coatings. Nanoweapon is applied at low temperatures so that the underlying metallurgy of the part is non effected by the application process. Our coating also has a surface hardness roughly equivalent to synthetic diamond. This makes Geissele Nanoweapon harder than sand, easily rejecting carbon and making cleaning a breeze, on top of allowing the firearm to operate normally with less lubrication.
5 STAR 100% SUPERB
It was a long wait to receive it but definitely worth it. Shoots tight groups and looks sweet. It's currently my favorite AR. By Clint on 3/5/20
5 STAR 100% EXCELLENT PIECE OF GEAR
I waited impatiently like many for this upper and when I got I understood the wait was worthy. I put it together with a geissele lower and voila, the perfect combination. Although I wanted to go shoot right of way, I decided to wait and put it through its paces in a carbine class, so I wanted again. I finally took the class and I put approximately 500 rounds which it might be not a lot by many but it was good baseline to measure reliability and performance. Well, I was definitely impressed with it performance, this upper felt like many of my mid-length uppers, not overly gassy and very soft to shoot. I didn't get any malfunctions altogether, it fed and ejected reliably. Overall, this is an excellent piece of gear that I would recommend anyone that is serious in taking training and using their gear a lot. By Ozzy on 2/23/20
5 STAR 100% EXCELLENT UPPER, HIGH QUALITY.
This is a very nice upper, nice BCG. My only complaint is that they seem to rocksett the flash hider on. I wish they wouldn't do this because its really hard to get some of them off, and most users nowadays use other cans. By S on 2/11/20
