The Brownells M16 Titanium Finish Bolt Carrier Group uses a carrier machined from 8520 Steel  and includes a bolt made using 9310 tool steel. The bolt itself is magnetic-particle inspected for quality assurance, and the entire unit features a Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) coating for added ruggedness.
