This is one of the newest Hybrid Compensator flash reducers. A key benefits of this upgrade is it maintains a similar noise signature as an A2 flash hider (not the LOUD BLAST heard in most compensators!) but with a pronounced difference from the A2 in lack of muzzle rise. The Battle Comp stays on target and you don't have to fight your rifle to get it to settle back down on target. For repeat shots this is amazing. Side blast is also much less than your typical compensator but a bit more than an A2 hider.

While reducing muzzle climb, it also reduces flash signature compared to most compensators. Lastly the Battlecomp reduces felt recoil , and produces less downward concussion than the standard A2 flash hider for a smaller dust signature when shooting prone.

Made from 17-4PH heat treated stainless steel bar stock and finished only in 13924D Black Oxide coating, the BattleComp 2.1 fits all barrels with 1/2 x 28 RH standard threads.

Having the same internal chamber as all 5.56/223 BattleComp models, the BC2.1 has identical performance, but is specifically designed to integrate with MOST A2-style sound suppressors and dummy suppressors. The BC2.1 has the same exterior dimensions as an A2, but still has the same precision interior dimensions as the BC1.0 and BC1.5; and the identical performance you can expect from a BattleComp. Accordingly, the BattleComp 2.1 is compatible with devices intended to integrate with an A2; but the BattleComp 2.1 is still the excellent compensator many have grown to love. Shim washers included.

Specifically designed for 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem ammunition, and shim kit is included. If a suppressor is to be used, Rocksett is strongly recommended.

The BC2.1 also works with 5.45x39 caliber, if the barrel is threaded 1/2 x 28 RH.
