This is one of the newest Hybrid Compensator flash reducers.  A key benefits of this upgrade is it maintains a similar noise signature as an A2 flash hider (not the LOUD BLAST heard in most compensators!) but with a pronounced difference from the A2 in lack of muzzle rise.  The Battle Comp stays on target and you don't have to fight your rifle to get it to settle back down on target. For repeat shots this is amazing.  Side blast is also much less than your typical compensator but a bit more than an A2 hider. 

While reducing muzzle climb, it also reduces flash signature compared to most compensators.  Lastly the Battlecomp reduces felt recoil , and produces less downward concussion than the standard A2 flash hider for a smaller dust signature when shooting prone.  Fits .223/5.56 rifles with ½"-28 tpi muzzle threads. 1.5 is pre-drilled for permanent pinning to a 14.5" barrel to extend it to a civilian-legal 16.1" OAL.

Made from 17-4PH heat treated stainless steel bar stock with a MilSpec Black Oxide, the BattleComp 1.5 fits all barrels with 1/2 x 28 RH standard threads. Specifically designed for 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem ammunition.
