The Ballastics Advantage 14.5" 5.56 BA Hanson Midlength AR 15 Performance Series Barrel with Lo Pro is machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a QPQ Corrosion Resistant Finish. The Performance Series Barrels feature a Nickel Boron Coated M4 feed ramp extension. Hanson Series Barrels feature our proprietary BA Hanson profile , carbine gas system length, 1.03" gas block seat for .750" low profile gas blocks only and include a pinned lo-pro gas block. Hanson barrels are not designed to work with aftermarket piston kits. *All NFA/ATF Rules Apply. You may use this barrel with a lower receiver that is a Registered SBR, Machine Gun, or Pistol. Possession of this barrel along with a Non-NFA lower receiver is Prohibited, except when installed on a Pistol configuration firearm.

This barrel literally fixes everything wrong with most barrels on the market.. No more front heavy “mil spec” Cut for a M203 Grenade launcher and the pinned gas block gives you piece of mind ... the tapered barrel balances the weight perfectly. Matched up with a Nitride BCG and VG6 muzzle device... I have almost zero recoil and the logo on the BCG is nice. Even with cheap Black Friday special 55grain 223 ammo I’m getting 1” groups at a 100 yards. I am so confident in my rifle now that I passed on all my bolt action high power rifles that I never shoot, and harvested a 102lb doe this last season with my AR... I can’t say enough, I will only use BA barrels on my builds.

Barrel is top of the line! The FailZero nickel boron coated extended M4 feed ramp pairs perfectly with my Aero Precision upper. The 1/7 twist, at least in my experience loved the 62 grain, shot great with 77grain as well. I like how the gas block is pinned and the finish if top notch. Ballistic advantage makes some high quality barrels!
