What is BA Hanson?
The BA Hanson Series exemplifies the quality and accuracy you have come to expect from Ballistic Advantage. BA Hanson Profile barrels feature a shoulder-less design, symmetrically limiting barrel “whip” and allowing the barrel too quickly return to its home position. This is extremely beneficial for follow up shots at a high rate of fire or full auto fire. Lightweight feel without the lightweight limitations, it is truly ideal for how an AR-15 is designed to perform.

***** An Amazing Tool! Review by Joseph
Overall
I purchased this 10.3 for a SBR build and I couldn’t be happier with the quality and craftsmanship of this barrel. For me, it all comes down to piece of mind and paying for what you get, especially while on the line of duty. I will continue to support ballistic advantage and so should you.

***** Very nice barrel, only complaint is the roll pin for the gas block. Review by Justin
Overall
I’d much rather have a solid tapper pin because the roll pins tend to not like being that long going into the channel. Works flawlessly on my MK18 build

Overall
Run this barrel on my MK18 CQBR Block II Clone build and it’s excellent handles 77grain very well and 62 grain all day long and all ranges from 25 ft up to 300 yards and is spot on.

***** First 85 rnds out of BA 10.3 Review by Anthony
Overall
First 65 rnds were on 4in target @50 yards with 62 grain green tips. Next 20 rnds were on 8in target same distance. With 77 gr match Sierra PMC. Considering it hasn’t had its first 100 rnds and it’s hitting 1 inch groups with the 77 gr match, I’m very impressed and anxious to see what will happen with other match ammo 68/69 and 75 grain. You guys have a strong product and a very fair price.

***** An OUTSTANDING barrel Review by Robert
Overall
I have this 10.3 on one of my SBR's. It's not a Mk18 or a clone, it's just a bad*** SBR. I wont try to admit I fully undertand barrel harmonics and whip, but with a similarly equipped 12.5" SBR, my 10.3 was definitely a smoother shooter. I also think the GP size on this barrel is .067, which I believe will work well suppressed also. I run it fully unsuppressed while waiting for my can to get out of jail. I highly recommend this barrel. Every BA barrel I've purchased (7) have had excellent fit and finish, and they are very accurate. I own this. 10.3 all the way up to a 18" Performance .308 barrel. I will say it like this. I have other barrels. If BA doesn't manufacture the length I need, like 11.5, I use Daniel Defense. These are the only two manufacturers I use. I will say that my Hanson barreled AR's ar as every bit accurate as DD, which cost a 1/3 more. As the previous reviewer wrote, I believe this would be a good option to your Mk18 clone, if you aren't insistent to replicate as close as possible, by using an LMT. If you an excellent shooting barrel is your criteria for your Mk18 clone, then here it is. Pull the trigger. You will NOT be disappointed!
