THESE P SERIES KITS INCLUDE AN ADJUSTABLE PISTON GAS BLOCK CAPABLE OF BEING HIDDEN UNDER SEVERAL HANDGUARD TYPES.

P Series replaces the earlier XLP (P Series is 30% lighter with enhanced locking lugs to better secure the gas plug). Kits are designed to retrofit a direct gas impingement system (i.e. upper with a gas tube) and change it to a clean running, ultra reliable, piston system.

Kits DO NOT INCLUDE BOLT/FIRING PIN/CAM PIN/COTTER PIN. IF YOU NEED A COMPLETE BCG, YOU MAY UPGRADE TO INCLUDE BCG COMPLETION KIT).

Adams Arm's AR-15 conversion kit system is compatible with 223 Remington / 5.56 NATO, 6.5 Grendel (6.5x38mm), 6.8x43mm Remington SPC, and 5.45x39mm calibers or .300BLK with the appropriate 300 Blackout kit (found separately on site). This kit is also compatible with Valkyrie .224 with a Rifle length gas system, BUT YOU MUST UPGRADE TO LOW MASS CARRIER TO CYCLE CORRECTLY.

Adams system will function with the 5.45×39, the 5.56/.223, the 6.5 Grendel, and the 6.8 SPC without any special modifications needed. A 300BLK specific kit with LOW MASS carrier and specialized gas block and drive rod is also available.

NOTE: ADAMS HAS DISCONTINUED SENDING RECEIVER BUSHING AND INSTALL TOOL AS THESE WERE DEEMED UNNECESSARY FOR PROPER SUPPORT.

The Adams Arms Piston System:

    A short stroke free floating piston system.

To select the correct length kit, use the following measurements:

    Pistol: 4.846" from barrel extension to shoulder PK-MICRO-ADJ-P FGAA-03217
    Carbine: 7.866" from barrel extension to shoulder PK-MICRO-ADJ-C FGAA-03203
    Mid: 9.866" from barrel extension to shoulder PK-MICRO-ADJ-M FGAA-03206

We recommend using a standard barrel nut or barrel nut with similar measurements for proper fit and function of the kit. Many aftermarket proprietary barrel nuts do not offer the clearance for the drive rod or proper seating of the spring and bushing.

Micro Gas Blocks should have the set screws torqued to 87 in-lbs
