This M16 USGI Magpul Follower and Spring Kit breathes new life into used or unreliable magazines. This basic kit contains ONE (1) New Chrome Silicon 30 Round Mag Spring and ONE (1) Magpul Enhanced Follower. This part replaces the worn or basic steel spring in a single USGI 30 round magazine. The ASC CS Spring follows government specifications for spring tension and diameter, but with the added benefit of corrosion and set resistance. Made in USA.

• Q: Chrome silicon spring versus 17/7 stainless?

  A: Every spring will take a set when compressed. A 17/7 stainless spring in a 20 or 30 round magazine will take a set the first time it is compressed and will continue to do so each time the magazine is reloaded eventually losing its load. A chrome silicon spring will take a set the first time and maintain that load each time the magazine is reloaded.

Magpul Enhanced Follower

The Magpul Enhanced Self-Leveling Follower is a drop in replacement for the aluminum USGI 30-round magazine black or green follower.Featuring a patent pending 4-way anti-tilt design for increased feeding reliability, the Enhanced Self-Leveling Follower is made from a non-hygroscopic and self-lubricating polymer.

 

MAG REBUILD KIT SELECTIONS (ADDITIONAL COST):

1) ADD MAGPUL RANGER PLATE

The Magpul Ranger Plate is a floorplate replacement for current issue aluminum USGI 30-round magazines that incorporates an integral loop, floorplate lock, and mag identifier. When installed on the base of a magazine, the Ranger Plate provides unsurpassed speed and controllability during high stress, tactical magazine changes. The ranger plates included by default are for USGI mags. If you want them to be either g2 or g3 pmag compatible, just put a note in order comments and that will be substituted.

Loop is made of pliable Santoprene rubber overmolded onto a stainless steel plate. Patented design based upon the tried and true para-cord loops and duct-tape tabs currently in use with special warfare units worldwide.
